The staff was really helpfull and room was great. It wasn´t located right in the center, but you could take tram opposite hotel (just some stops from main square).

The hotel is new and excellent, with free wifi and attentive staff always ready to help you any time . The location is perfect, as you may reach the city center in 10 minutes by tram, the tram stop is just outside the hotel. It was the best and cheapest hotel during my trip in Holland. I would advise it to anyone.

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel, everything was perfect.

    Superb

The hotel is only a couple of months old and looks very clean and tidy. We enjoyed travelling by tram from the hotel into the city as you get to see more of the surrounding area. Some people will mark this as a negative as it is about 10 minutes tram journey to the centre but this was a postive for us as it had a much more relaxed feel about it. Also there are a few nice cafe bars just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel which were much cheaper than in the city.

We were celebrating out 10th wedding anniversary and noted this on the comments that we would prefer a double bed. We checked in with a very nice gentleman on the front desk and was told that the room wasn't ready, which was not a problem and he informed us that we would be in a room with a double bed which we thanked him very much. On our return a few hours later we were given our room, to our disappointment which had twin beds. We queried this with reception and the girl on the desk was quite surly on the phone and said that this was the only room that they could offer us and that on the comments section of Booked.net this was only a request even although I had booked a "superior double room" they should advertise it as "superior double/twin room" so that customers are made aware that there is a possiblility of twin beds. I explained that we were told on check in earlier that we had a double bed and she said she would see what she could do. We telephoned down a few minutes later and said we would just stay where we were. If this had not happened we would have rated the Eden Manor Amsterdam 10 out of 10.

    Superb

The hotel is vibrantly decorated! The staff were very helpful, and courteous. We were unable to park in the car park, as we were in a van, so had to use a park and ride, again they found us the directions, and were incredibly helpful. When we were leaving they allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel so we could have a few hours sight seeing, and fetch way after our check out time. The room was plenty enough for what we needed, flat screen TV, shower and bath, and tea/coffee making. Plenty of towels, and in general a very comfortable room.

No parking facilities to accomodate a van ! The "superior double room" was just that, 2 beds pushed together , but with single sheets and quilts.

Room was too hot,not able to adjust, carpet seemed sticky,no smoking throughout, therefore kept getting locked outside whilst smoking at night, night porters took their time as if I was walking in off the street! Not much to this hotel to suggest its a 4 star, after all thats why I chose it.

    Superb

Amazing rooms, really beautiful designing. "Rituals" shower gels in bath. - loved them. Pleasant location of the hotel in a quiet and green district. Though a little bit far from city center. Around 15mins to Dam square by tram. Really good bicycles for rent right in the hotel for 15 euro per 24 hours.

    Good

A new hotel with modern interior. It is located in the Eastern centre of Amsterdam with convenient connection by tram to all attractions and centra station. So the environment is quiet and clean compared to the crowded place like Dam, central station etc.

For a 4-star hotel, the facility, bar and service is more of a 3-star level. There is only one reception desk and one person behind the deskfor checkin/out and all other questions, which leads to long waiting time.

    Superb

Great decor and setup, friendly staff

Free internet is extremely slow (256 Kbps), for a more decent connection (1 / 2 Mbps) you have to look into 10 to 22 Euros a Day... Internet is as necessary as electricity...hotel should invest in a better free internet service.

    Good

The building is very nice, and the decoration matches the Amsterdam avant- guarde and creativity. Once the organization will get over the start up adjustments it should become a very good place to stay and use as a base for an great Amsterdam stay.

The staff's training before the opening has been very insufficient. Soap dispensers and tissue dispenser in the room were not refilled. Upon arrival there was about a 1/10th toilet paper roll hanging. The second day, they simply "forgot" to clean up the room. On Sunday morning we were waken-up loudly by phone first and by knocking on the door to move our car form the reserved spot. The staff had "forgotten" to advise in advance that the parking had to be cleared for an open day event. I still received (and paid) the full daily charge for the parking! Etc... Once they get their act together the place will be great. Now I felt a scapegoat for a hectic start-up

    Fabulous

Very clean, confortable, with great design and good services.

A bit far from the centre and a bit noisy for the room with the view on the main street.

The Hotel has a great position, only 10 minutes from the City Center by a tram or a Bus. Room was new and nice, I will definitely recommend to any of my friends.

    Exclusive

We loved this hotel! It was out of the Amsterdam congestion, but with a direct tram to Central Station just outside the door. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the onsite restaurant and bar served delicious food. We were also appreciative of the free wi-fi available throughout the hotel and in our room.

Very friendly and cooperative staff starting from the porter till the duty manager who was keen to make sure that we are enjoying the room. Another thing, the tram station is just 50 meters from the hotel.

It's about 20 minutes walking distance from the downtown.

    Very good

The hotel was 13 days old when we arrived so all of the facilities were new. The location is relatively good, 10 minute tram ride to the main train station. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. Upon check-in we asked for a room on the backside of the hotel so we wouldn't have street noise and they were more than happy to accommodate our request.

We could not get the room to cool down. We reported the problem but other than putting a card in the electricity slot so that the a/c would run all day there was no resolution to the problem. Even running it all day didn't cool the room. The outside temperature was only about 65 f so it should have been easy to cool the room. The pillows although new were very stiff and the linens were scratchy. We only had breakfast in the hotel one morning and felt like we were putting the staff out a bit by ordering off the ala carte menu instead of going to the buffet. We felt 17.50 Euros was a bit much for a breakfast buffet when we aren't big breakfast eaters. The newness of the hotel shows in it's growing pains but overall our stay was good and we would return.
